Energy Compliance
When Santa Monica
first adopted energy efficiency guidelines that were more stringent than
Title 24, a software program was developed to help with project
compliance. The program was the Santa Monica Energy Code Compliance
Application (SMECCA).
The City no longer
uses SMECCA to determine energy compliance. Please consult the
Green Building Ordinance,
SMMC 8.108 for
guidance on energy requirements in the city.
